Johnny Kenny has packed his bags, got kitted out and is all set to become Celtic’s fourth signing of the January transfer window.
The young striker spent time in December with Hibs but will be heading to Glasgow to sign for the League Cup winners.
Earlier tonight on Facebook Sligo based menswear firm EJ shared images of the striker in store putting the finishing touches to his wardrobe.
Kenny made a big impact for Sligo last season, scoring 11 goals in 33 appearances as Rovers finished third in the League of Ireland.
That earned him recognition at international level and the attention of scouts from Scotland and England.
Celtic’s plans for Kenny are unknown, a first team place seems unlikely but the Lowland League gives him an option to get regular competitive football while getting used to full-time training.
