Coward and scum- Ally McCoist’s foul mouthed Instagram rant at Ibrox fan

Ally McCoist has been accused of a foul mouthed exchange on Instagram, accusing one Ibrox fan of being scum and a coward.

Screenshots of the exchange appeared on the popular Follow Follow website, an official media partner of the Ibrox club.

McCoist was in the commentary box at yesterday’s Glasgow derby for Sky Sports and unable to find any consolation for the fans looking for some soothing words.

Tensions over ran inside Ibrox with Celtic players and medical staff subjected to bottle throwing incidents from all areas of the home support.

Online things were even more toxic as fans lashed out at a variety of targets covering the boardroom, management team and first team players.

It seems that the defeat and the significance of falling six points behind Celtic got the better of McCoist as the screenshots of the normally switched-on media favourite proved.

In December 2014, soo after being drawn against Celtic in the semi-final of the League Cup McCoist went on gardening leave, doubling his manager’s salary at Ibrox.
