Martin Compston made an unexpected appearance in a Glasgow pub to watch Celtic take a huge step towards lifting the SPFL Premiership title.
The Vegas-based actor could easily have taken a place in the Directors Box or enjoyed hospitality but opted to view the match at Kity O’Shea’s with ticketless punters. Rather than keep a low profile he led the chanting as ‘Glasgow’s Green and White’ bounced around the pub.
On the back of his role in Line of Duty Compston is one of the most in-demand actors but has never hidden his love for Celtic.
Taking part in various charity matches over the years the one time Morton hopeful follows the hoops closely wherever he is working.
Yesterday’s draw leaves Celtic needing four points from their last three matches to clinch the SPFL title although one win would almost certainly make Ange Postecoglou’s side uncatchable.

He’s just one of the bhoys.
He just loves the celtic fc 1888.
For me please , and this just might be a personal point of view but the next to you say celtic are on the verge of clinching the TITLE could you just say cingh or cinching thank you very much , i.e celtic have cinched the prem title or it was a cinch for celtic to claim the prem title , just saying…….Hail Hail
I think the time has come for the spfl to grow a set off balls and tell celtic/ rangers from next season all matches between each other will be home fans only before someone get seriously injured no more fkn about.
