Cheeky fans of Al Ittihad have already pinched and adapted the Jota song ahead of the transfer of Celtic’s Superstar from Portugal.
Negotiations over a transfer in the region of £25m appear to be on-going between the two clubs but fans of the Saudi side haven’t been slow to prepare for their new signing.
Images of Jota photo-shopped into their yellow and black kit have been appearing online as well as the tagline #jotaisyellow.
Back in February the combination of BBC 5 Live and Ellie Dixon backed by the Celtic support took the chant Jota on the Wing viral with the singer playing before the Glasgow Derby on April 2 that was rounded off by the former Benfica man scoring what turned out to the the winner.

Now it seems that only the formalities need be completed before #Jotaisyellow becomes official which will have a knock on effect on the Celtic song book.
With the songs for Ange Postecoglou and Aaron Mooy already shelved losing the Jota song will leave the Green Brigade in need of some new material for the campaign which starts in five weeks time.
About as useful as a penny farthing in the Tour de France ….
