2. Sorry but it takes an eternity to read these blogs now. Always a good read but it’s becoming a chore to get through one due to all the ads and pop ups. Keep up the good work as it’s always informative.

6. BTW, Chesterbhoy, is the local CSC still at St Werburgh’s?
   Spent quality time there a long time ago with my family. I think it was a Cup Final, Dunfermline? We won it anyway (2-1 I think). Two of us bet Stan to score @11/2 and he did but it was chalked off. It didn’t stop the Champagne flowing, which I’d ordered locally at HT. We got permission from the Steward to open it x3 and ‘neck’ it. We shared it with club members, what a day! Jackie’s testimonial was the next day and we were offered a free run up…had to decline…. we’d come from all over UK to meet up and we were hell-bent on drinking the CSC and Chester dry! 🙂 HH

8. Easy 3 points today, but dare I say it, Celtic can be a grim watch, centre halfs going side to side and every player wants to pass the ball backwards. It’s slow and tepid, not the greatest entertainment on a Saturday afternoon

Totally agree Dan…but that’s the way it is I’m afraid…When Hertz pressed us high up the pitch ..our ” breakaway” football was really good to watch…But when they dropped back in the second half…we reverted to type…and. strolled about…But we take the 3 points and clean sheet…and stroll on…Hail hail.

   2. More down to how hearts played mate. High block difficult to break through but we did 3 times before half time should have been more. Agree it wasn’t our silkiest performance but a good performance all the same and another 3 points towards the title.
      Nothing hard to watch about it.
