Four days after the events at Ibrox, Celtic have sprung back into action.
Urging fans to spend money in a ‘stylish celebration of the club’s Irish roots roots’. The only tradition that matters to the club is filling the bank balance while serving up a shambles on the pitch.
Over the course of 120 minutes at Ibrox on Sunday Celtic managed one effort on target. What many thought was a goal was disallowed by Andrew Dallas on the basis of the most laughable of VAR ‘evidence’.
At the 2023 AGM Michael Nicholson was questioned about the decision making of John Beaton.
The wise cracking Celtic CEO replied ‘Penalty to Rangers’ as his boardroom colleagues roared with laughter.
There hasn’t been much in the way of gags from Nicholson this season. His master-plan of a dream ticket partnership of Paul Tisdale and Wilfried Nancy confirmed that the CEO has no concept or understanding of football.
On Sunday at Ibrox Celtic players and staff were attacked on the pitch by loyal bears.
A flare was launched into the Celtic support with no action taken by Police Scotland to arrest the home supporter involved.
CORPORATE CELTIC IN ACTION
Access to Ibrox for fans was horrific. Nicholson arrived at the front door in a Parks of Hamilton coach. Soon after arriving he was enjoying prawn sandwiches and the finest claret with the home directors.
There has been silence from the Celtic board about the events of Sunday.
This morning they played a familiar card.
A huge summer rebuild is required – Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay cannot be trusted to oversee it. Recent transfer windows and the current state of the playing squad show why.
The Not Another Penny campaign is working. Keep it up and force the change. ? https://t.co/dT9L1dkeXF pic.twitter.com/p6GEmpstso

Tellingly none of the current players were used in the promotion. None of the star signings made by Tisdale and his world class recruitment department.
With the Not Another Penny campaign in full flow the club tweet was hit with a predictable reaction.
At the 2025 AGM Nicholson’s pre-recorded message mentioned improved communication from the club.
So far that has amounted to the launch of a club app. Making it easier for fans to spend money on club merchandise.
The last time that Nicholson was heard was on December 18 as he mournedthe resignation of his mentor as Chairman.
During his interview with Gerry McCulloch Nicholson expressed his dismay over three club employees being assaulted following the League Cup Final defeat.
There has been no update on thatissue. No release of CCTV, no charges made.
In contrast Nicholson is on mute over the very public attacks on employees during Sunday’s match at Ibrox.

This board has ruined , yes ruined , our football club .
A club like no other…..this board is so out of touch with it’s surroundings it’s surreal.
Advertising clothing after what has just happened at Ibrox is utterly disgraceful and disgusting.
Just when you think things can’t get any worse they pull a stunt like that, totally unacceptable, they have crossed a line.
I can’t believe the SMSM reporting that sevco still gets a 2,500 ticket allocation for Celtic Park.
To any sane person, the only thing you can confidently state right now following Sunday,
is that it is simply too early to decide if giving sevco those tickets should still happen.
Celtic could / should conduct due diligence to make an informed and substantiated decision
which is not based on emotion, and can stand up to public scrutiny.
To make a decision just 3 days later would suggest that nothing has been done – at all – by our
Board, with respect to ensuring Celtic supporters, players and staff are safe within Celtic Park !
The Board is consistent though:
consistently negligent with regards to its own responsibilities around safety.
Absolute shambles of a board
With no concept of how a football club should be run
They think the fans are mugs
Nicholson is a fuckin disgrace,as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike fuckin detest the arrogant cunt.
