Celtic Supporters Limited have laid out a manifesto for Customer Service.
It is hardly revolutionary but lay out the basic expectations that you’d expect elsewhere in life.
The reality is that it exposes how out of date everything in and around Celtic Park is.
Facilities at the stadium are basic, transportation is sub-standard.
Unfortunately, like in every area of the club it seems that everything is locked in 2001 mode.
Celtic Park is a digital dessert. Some might find that quaint, the reality is that it is badly outdated.
When you watch the build up to Champions League matches the difference is stark.
Spacious modern arenas with all of the facilities. At Celtic Park both teams come from different directions, they almost have to go out in single file while background figures hover around.
@CelticFC talk about “fan engagement” and “improved digital experience” off the back of one of their biggest ever surveys. ?
Here is the reality for a match going fan at Paradise:• Antiquated ticketing systems that create friction before you even arrive
• Freezing cold…— Celtic Supporters Ltd (@celticCSL) April 27, 2026
Ticketing and food are two basics.
Anyone going to the cinema would expect to have a digital ticket and a full range of food options.
Celtic have neither.
CELTIC FANS ARE SOLD SHORT
Every club in the top two divisions in England have a digital ticket exchange. Season Tickets that won’t be in use are offered to registered fans to use.
Celtic prefer to allow seats to lie empty.
Fans have mobilised, on Facebook tickets are regularly traded but the issue highlights the complete discord between the club and supporters.
It is a simple process. The club gains, Season Ticket holders and non-ticket holders both benefit.
The systems are in place. Tried and tested, ready for use. Only Celtic can explain their reasoning except the club doesn’t communicate. They won’t even hold an AGM.
Celtic Supporters Limited are on the front foot. Pushing their message of a modern, fit for purpose club.
They aren’t manning the barricades and demanding a complete revolution.
The standards that fans encounter going to the cinema, booking into hotels, going to restaurants or travelling by train or plane should be available at Celtic Park.
The footprint of the stadium should be clean and cleared regularly.
All of these issues are minor. They would cost a lot less than the wages being paid to Michel-Ange Balikwisha or Michael Nicholson.
Only Celtic’s executives know the reasons for keeping the club in the dark ages, on and off the park.
