Six days after telling Season Ticket holders in the Rail Seating area that they are being moved to other areas Celtic have backtracked.
On Thursday the club contacted the impacted Season Ticket holders to inform them that they will be able to retain a seat in that area. But not the same seat.
The action is typical of Celtic, a club with nothing but contempt for fans.
Communications consists of asking fans to spend more money.
The Lisbon Lions are a marketing tool to extract money on the back of fan emotions.
CHAIRMAN WILSON AND THE POINTLESS CELTIC SUPPORTER UPDATES
On April 30 Brian Wilson delivered another holding statement dressed up as a Supporter Update. He announced the club would be appointing a Fan Engagement Officer.
With 24 hours of that Update around 170 fans were sent an email stating that they’d be moved elsewhere. They would get the pick of the left-overs.
That was the knock on effect of the decision to switch The Bhoys Ultras group into the Rail Seating area.
Your support of the club is never taken for granted. I can’t believe they put that in writing.
They 100% take it for granted.— Gov (@gov1888) May 7, 2026
Celtic’s explanation is that moving The Bhoys was done on safety grounds. One that was taken close to sending out renewals, too close to consult with the Season Ticket holders being removed.
Thursday’s update and explanation is simply backtracking.
A mix of the reaction from those impacted and the slow uptake on Season Ticket renewals.
Other fans are realising that they could be relocated at a moments notice for the flimsiest of reasons. Safety being a favourite.
Celtic’s interest in their welfare starts and ends with extracting their money for Season Tickets.
Clearly Not Another Penny has impacted on all commercial revenue streams.
The slow uptake on Season Ticket renewals will come as a shock to those inside the club.
Appointing a Fan Engagement Officer was the only inducement offered to Season Ticket holders who had Wilfried Nancy imposed on them in December.
While Michael Nicholson continues to drain £17,000 a week as CEO it is clear that no areas of the club are competent let alone world class.
On Sunday Nicholson will be welcoming 2,200 fans to Celtic Park including many who were involved in physically attacking Celtic players, staff and fans at Ibrox on March 8.

How much worse can this sh*t show get Joe under these useless lot….. really don’t know what’s worse** treating Celtic fans like fools or welcoming them lowlife scum b*****ds to Celtic Park Sunday when everyone knows them animals will trash the away end and have a good old hate fest for 90mins
Board would’ve hated the banners being so close to them from the bhoys section when GB were locked out. That’ll be the motivation to move them. Charlatans to a man. Get them all gone.
Lying Lying B*astards the whole fu**in lot of them…
Patronising ones at that !
