  1. What are the chances of BBC Scottish version’s Alan Preston who screamed into the mic live the lie that ‘ Lawrence Shankland was being attacked ‘ over the far side of the pitch will be forced to apologise by his bosses …you know the ones that we as Licence fee payers employ with our subscriptions ? I think the World Cup build up will save his bacon on that score …as all roads will lead to North America and Me- hico !

  2. They won’t apologise – These b*astrds NEVER do…

And yet we have an alleged fu**in ‘leading sports lawyer’ in the building…

Or we would if he wasn’t Lucan !

  3. Nevin stopped supporting Celtic FC coz a few numpties sang a song he didn’t like and now says he’s a Hibs fan never a Celtic fan in the first place his arrogance will stop him apologising just like Preston Peter Martin and the rest

  4. “During the 2011 Scottish Cup Final, Nevin told BBC viewers that he was about to become an anti-sectarian crusader. He would call out sectarian songs and chanting at every opportunity. Little has been heard since.”

It was the Irish National Anthem that was being sung at the time. Lots of people complained at the time, including from Ireland, and the BBC was forced to put out, a typically watered down, apology.

Of course, this Anti-Bigotry campaigner never had a problem with the Billy Boys, Famine Song etc and the horrific racism of the Chelsea support during his time there.

“Hypocrisy is the greatest luxury, raise the double standard”
