Celtic have revived their campaign against the Green Brigade by blocking two members from renewing their Season Tickets.
Following a home and away ban that covered 32 matches Celtic relented over the closing weeks of the season to lift the suspension on 250 fans.
The rewards were obvious. Celtic Park was revived, the players responded with a memorable SPFL and Scottish Cup double secured.
Any thoughts that there might have been a fresh start from the board can be binned.
Brian Wilson was wheeled out once a month to justify doing nothing for the club and supporters. As ever Michael Nicholson was hiding.
Now a long running dispute dating back to the Celtic AGM in November has been given fresh significance.
Green Brigade Update:
– Celtic board reverting to type now season has ended
– bans pursued over vexatious allegations from over 6 months ago

After an unjustified five-month and 32-match ban, 250 supporters returned to Celtic matches for the final six weeks of the season.
It was clear, and acknowledged from players to manager, that the subsequent change in atmosphere was pivotal in inspiring the team to an unlikely and unforgettable double.
This fairytale ending would not have been achieved without unity across the stands and pitch.
The blocking of two Season Tickets relates to an incident at the AGM involving Mark Hargreaves.
The AGM was held mid morning in broad daylight, presumably Hargreaves was never alone. As a former Police Officer he will know the boundaries.
It is quite a stretch to believe that a very serious incident happened at the AGM and went commented on.
THE ABSENT BUT EARNING MICHAEL NICHOLSON
Ross Desmond’s explosive criticism of fans was well covered, as was the petty behaviour of Peter Lawwell in abandoning the AGM. All to ensure that Nicholson wasn’t questioned.
Since winning the SPFL title two weeks ago there has been no comment from Celtic on appointing a manager.
On February 18 Chairman Wilson promised the Celtic Fans Collective a follow up meeting within a month. Wilson hasn’t replied to subsequent emails from the Collective.
During Wilson’s last update on April 30 he discussed
- New investment in supporter engagement department
- The establishment of a new fan engagement structure to be undertaken during the summer, following consultation with fans.
- A new expanded Fan Forum
Clearly there is no intention of anything meaningful. As a Labour politician he is used to delivering empty sound-bites that are forgotten the next week.
CEO Nicholson has said nothing in 2026.

We won the double despite the board. Lack of quality signings, selling top players and banning our most vocal fans tells me 1 thing. They are deliberately holding us back. F the lot of the @£%##!@#%^
Those 3 need to be hunted out of CP along with the Desmonds and other board members.
If I had their addresses I’d publish them with the intention of peaceful picketing outside their homes and at CP. Without open rebellion they’ll just carry on as now.
SUPPORT THE GB, REMOVE THE BOARD.
Are these bastards still there? Needs to be daily protests outside CP till they are gone. Also, where’s our fuckin manager? 2 weeks gone since league was won and still nothing. Shameful
