The Celtic first team squad made the short journey to Dublin yesterday as they step up their pre-season preparations.
The Dublin Airport X/Twitter account has recently become a big favourite with the Celtic support with some topical gags about the failings at Ibrox.
In March they announced the safe landing of penalty kicks taken by James Tavernier and Djeidi Gassama as their team crashed out of the Scottish Cup.
Ibrox fans were outraged at the insensitive treatment of their heroes and threatened all sorts.
The Dublin Airport X account lapped it all up. They weren’t going to be censored by the threat of a bears boycott. The withdrawal of the blue pound wasn’t going to scare them into silence.
Celtic’s storming run to the double of the SPFL and Scottish Cup was duly acknowledged.
Yesterday as the Celtic plane touched down in Dublin they were greeted with a few blasts of Simply The Best. Fitting for Scotland’s most successful club.
However you don’t become an admin of the X account though without knowing about the multiple failings of the Celtic board.
The Celts are here! ?
A champion welcome was given to Scottish double winners @CelticFC this evening, as they arrived into Dublin Airport ahead of their sell-out pre-season match against @shelsfc on Tuesday.

Naturally there were no new players on board the flight to Dublin.
Not even Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
On Saturday morning the official Celtic website announced that the former Liverpool midfielder had signed a one year contract.
Since that announcement there has been nothing added to the Celtic website.
Not even news about the B team losing 3-1 at Peterhead on Saturday or which players are in the squad that flew over for the Shelbourne match.
DUBLIN AIRPORT- ON THE BALL WITH THE MOOD OF CELTIC FANS
Cameron-Carter-Vickers was spotted coming off the flight, Reo Hatate was also there alongside some youthful faces plus Adam Montgomery.
Anyone familiar with X will know of the transfer frustrations of Celtic fans.
Dublin Airport was quick to knock-back the suggestions that they could come in on loan to liven up Celtic’s dull social media content.
Important we’re up front from the start… we’ve no interest in a loan

Camilo Duran and Alfie Devine may be getting close to signing for Celtic. It depends on what accounts you follow on Twitter.
Neither are likely to be involved against Shelbourne tonight.
It would be a brave or foolish fans that would bet money on more than one new signing playing against Sporting Lisbon on July 14.
Martin O’Neill is expected to speak to the media at some point during the three day trip to Ireland. Celtic haven’t bothered holding a media conference to recognise his permanent appointment.
The Herald, Daily Record and Sun are sending reporters to cover the Shelbourne match. The three titles that simultaneously broke the news at 5pm on June 5 that O’Neill had agreed a 12 month deal as permanent manager.
Despite winning the double and the lure of O’Neill there are still tickets available for the Shelbourne match which will be shown live by Premier Sports.
After the friendly with Sporting Celtic come home to friendlies against Middlesbrough and AC Milan. The Middlesbrough match in likely to turn into a Reform rally. Away fans have been given 10,000 tickets. Celtic ticket sales are said to be slow.
Celtic’s SPFL opener against Dundee is four weeks away.
