The full cost of being a Celtic fan through the close season is over £1,000.
Often the club is accused of failing to communicate with supporters.
The process to appoint a manager was ignored by the club. Six days after the Daily Record, Sun and Herald had the story Celtic confirmed the appointment of Martin O’Neill.
It took until the first day of pre-season training for news on Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham to be shared. Their titles aren’t known.
Celtic have had an interim Chairman for over six months. No mention on the search for Peter Lawwell’s successor has been given.
IS SILENCE A POLICY?
Paul Tisdale left as Head of Football Operations on January 5. It isn’t known if the club is looking for a replacement or are creating a new role.
Kelechi Iheanacho scored Celtic’s final goal of the season. He also netted three vital winners away to Dundee, Hibs and Motherwell. There has been no word on the club website about Iheanacho’s status. Likewise Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Six loan players were involved in the 25/26 season. None have been thanked for their contribution. Etc, etc.
Anything football related forget it, know your place. But when it comes to selling things the full Celtic-family treatment is applied.

CELTIC- A POLICY OF SELECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS
In season 24/25 Celtic made so much profit they paid £11.4m in Corporation Tax.
During the 25/26 season Celtic made a £12m profit on transfer activity. They failed to reach the group phase of the Champions League.
A few years ago the club dropped two additional matches from the Season Ticket. Now it covers 19 SPFL matches and nothing else.
In August Celtic will be cashing in on their Champions League Play Off match. Tickets are likely to be £40 with a £5 discount for Season Ticket holders.
August could also include a home match in the League Cup.
