Willie Collum hit rock bottom last night as he starred in the first edition of the VAR Review this season on Sky Sports.
Football fans were treated to 40 minutes of propaganda that would make North Korea or Donald Trump think twice and ask ‘can we really get away with that?’
With Gordon Duncan asking the questions and avoiding follow ups Collum was free to get away with any answer he cared to throw out.
Duncan was almost reduced to Jim White mode. All that was missing was the ‘Willie, why are you so good question’.
What’s really important to emphasise here is we don’t guess decisions. There’s a process to be followed.
Even for a nodding dog the Super Scoreboard anchor-man surpassed himself.
Smiling and grinning away as Collum contradicted himself with each embarrassing answer to the softest of questions.

SFA VAR is working perfectly and so are his mates delivering the mistakes game by game.
It was incredible verbal gymnastics, all that was missing Collum dressed in his Union Jack leotard.

HONEST WILLIE COLLUM EXPLAINS
Explaining why the ‘goal’ by Camilo Duran was disallowed against St Mirren Collum repeats that ‘we don’t guess’.
He then talks through the guesswork for the ‘kick point’. A totally different camera angle then conjures up the image of Duran’s toes being offside.
Duncan nods and smiles at Honest Willie. The man who owes his entire career to the backing of Hugh Dallas. Groomed from when he first blew a whistle.
Barely without pause Collum turns to the next disallowed Celtic goal. No mention is made of the two handed push into Liam Scales that will bring a penalty on Thursday if committed by a Ferencvaros player.
And then onto disallowing the ‘goal’ from Shim Mheuka with no evidence.
Don Roberson on VAR duty tried and failed to get VAR lines to justify his hunch.
Instead the leading referee virtually walks match referee Ryan Lee over to the monitor and tells him what he has to see. There is no evidence that Mheuka is offside.
Obedient Lee does exactly as he is told.
He has watched Robertson rise up the ladder by delivering the expected decisions.
Any rising star on the refereeing circus knows that they have to deliver to join Robertson, John Beaton, David Dickinson and Steven McLean on the gravy train.
When the SFA pays six figure salaries to Ian Maxwell and Craig Mulholland it takes a lot to surpass them.
The VAR Review show confirms Collum as the biggest joke in Scottish football.

The ref made his determination on the field with the linesman
Why did VAR call over the ref here but not for the supposed out of play goal that was chopped off this week?
If we can just ask the ref to guess at the monitor they could replay the cross & the ref could re-evaluate

The problem in all of this is Celtics silence. Nothing will change until that changes. Good people on the Celtic blog sphere are continuously highlighting the corruption. All for Nothing if the club won’t accept its responsibility to its supporters.

The game tomorrow we ain’t getting jackshit from it,as I said,they are out to REDEEM themselves from last season,from the backlash they got for awarding the right decision to give us that penalty at Motherwell
I expect us to get 1 or 2 players sent off tomorrow with at least 2 goals chopped off,be denied at least 2 penalty claims or decisions,and then to get the same decisions as above in their favour.
I hope I’m wrong,but something tells me, I’m going to be right.
