After a little teasing ACSOM has made their big announcement for Celtic fans- they will be hosting an Evening With Brendan Rodgers on June 14 at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow.
The date may be a relief to Brian Unity Wilson and Mute Mike Nicholson but it does put their incompetence firmly in the spotlight.
A year ago they were doing everything possible to suffocate Rodgers’ ambitions plans for Celtic. Such as being competent in Europe and signing decent players.
As was revealed last week with the 2026 Annual Report Celtic prefer the comfort of Thursday’s in the Europa League alongside signing job-lots of projects and duds hoping that one in five turns into a £20m transfer.
Rodgers hasn’t said a word about his Celtic resignation on 27 October 2025.
Unlike the Celtic board he doesn’t have a small band of messengers to portray his views on any subject through ‘sources close to the club’.
Within 30 minutes of announcing his resignation Celtic published a character assassination of their most successful domestic manager delivered by Dermot Desmond.
RODGERS HOLDS BACK AS DESMOND FIREST THE CELTIC ATTACK
Many fans looked for Rodgers to reply through a statement from the League Managers Association.
He resisted that, with the assurance of having no Confidentiality Agreement he is at liberty to speak out about any issue at any time.
As recently as last week cowardly Chairman Wilson was blaming Rodgers for the current state of Celtic. Perhaps if he spent less time criticising the SNP in his Scotsman articles he might have noticed the state that Celtic are in.
Despite the delusions of Michael Nicholson nothing about Celtic is world class. Well maybe Executive pay levels.

ACSOM regularly hold Q and A nights at Glasgow venues. Chris Sutton and Didier Agathe have recently been involved, Gordon Strachan will soon be giving off wee guy vibes at another event.
Rodgers however is the Gold Star.
He has 11 trophy wins and a run to the Last 16 Play Off in the Champions League to recall. An invincible Treble, a double treble and teeing Neil Lennon up for a Treble Treble to recall.
What went on behind the scenes with Peter Lawwell will be on more interest to fans attending the event in June.
The broken promises, the off the record briefings to pet reporters and the player judgement of Mark Lawwell could go on for hours on end.
There has recently been speculation that Rodgers may be involved in some sort of Celtic share purchase to take control away from Desmond who owns 35% of the shares.
Today’s announcement was made just as Desmond was teeing off at Carnoustie in the Dunhill Cup.
There is free entry to the Dunhill Cup on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday at Carnoustie is ticket only.

Just about sums up today’s Celtic under the firm heal of the jack booted Desmond and his malignant cabal of corporate greed and austerity fc yes men (sorry that’s an insult to men )let’s just say withering specimens of manhood and arse lickers, but the problems remain and answer has always been in our hands this Desmond version of Celtic is not the club we love and cherish, we have to accept if we do nothing then just like a picture of Dorian grey this Celtic will continue to become even more grotesque each and every day ,the answer along with not another penny is give the nothing ,to quote someone who loved celtic ‘not another thin dime) so stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club
Obviously next late spring is the earliest in which this Q&A with Brendan Rodgers and ACSOM can happen for whichever reasons ? It would have been much more favourable if the show could have happened before .say ..the end of the ? year ? Pre AGM …in a perfect world . Oh well…..
I doubt Celtic media will be looking to hijack this ACSOM guest like they did with Didier.
The tickets should sell out quick?
But, if there’s no NDA you would think he’d keep the juiciest stories
for his book…?
Brendan doing then slowly is a beautiful thing.
ACSOM Has secured the Mother of all interviews.
Along with Tony Hagerty they will get the interview that the MSM could not be trusted to conduct.
Let us hope that Brendan spills the beans and exposes Mute Mike,DD& Son and the antics of the muppet show in the board room of our beautiful club.
To quote a famous singer “When you wake up and discover that the papers are owned by Tories just remember there are always two sides to every story”(Billy Brag Lyrics It says here)
Tell it as it was warts and all Brendan the invincible.
Both barrels please!!
