Deluded Danny Murphy believes that Steven Gerrard could be a match-winner against Celtic- ON THE PARK.
The former Liverpool midfielder hasn’t played in three years, moving to LA Galaxy in 2016 to end his playing days after failing to win the EPL during his Anfield days.
Joey Barton, Nico Kranjcar and Jemain Defoe have all came up to take Scottish football by storm only to find out that Celtic and others aren’t prepared to stand aside for yesterday’s men from the land of milk and honey.
Celtic have won 10 of the last 13 derby clashes, drawing twice and losing just once but speaking on TalkSPORT this morning Murphy believes that Gerrard has the measure of Scott Brown and Callum McGregor.

Gerrard can call on Defoe and Steve Davis but since they were both given debuts away to Kilmarnock he hasn’t played both men from the start in any fixture.
After starting 2019 on level terms with Celtic the Ibrox club have slipped 10 points behind the hoops with only a win on Sunday likely to keep alive their faint hopes of lifting a trophy this season.
