Michael Gannon has accused Brendan Rodgers of trying to engineer a move to Saudi Arabia. Probably.
Rodgers resigned as Celtic manager on October 27 after a campaign to undermine him went too far.
Not content with replacing Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn with Shin Yamada, Sebastian Tounekti and Michel-Ange Balikwisha the Celtic board have even more drastic plans for the January transfer window.

Rodgers was faced with all that and the promise of more of the same.
Tisdale had his successor lined up. Michael Nicholson discovered Wilfried Nancy, his number one candidate and the run down of Celtic was almost complete.

I think that he was right but there’s also the fact where where where Brendan Rodgers ended up is a is a little bit too neat a blow as well because the scenario that that I suspect Rogers was was looking for actually transpired eventually. And I know there’s a suspicion inside Celtic as well

It is a team that is failing to get to grips with the manager’s vision. Disjoined, confused, em wide open at times. Em, I don’t actually think that there is a problem as such.
I mean people talk about 5,3s, and 3, 5s. It was a back five but a back five with Tounekti and Yang as full backs.
Reporters defending Nancy should be embarrassed.
Hounding and bad mouthing Rodgers is equally embarrassing.
When you are in the final year of your contract you’d be a fool not to be keeping an eye out for job options elsewhere.
If you rejected Shin Yamada in January but had him imposed on you in July there is no chance that your contract will be renewed.
Only an idiot would conclude otherwise.
