Derek McInnes has fired a warning to the Ibrox board to hurry up and spend the money.
Eight new signings ahead of the first competitive match of the season is generally regarded as good going.
With an emphasis on the staunch and players that ‘get it’ Lawrence Shankland and Ross McCrorie were signed before the start of pre-season training.
So far the transfer activity has been largely one way.
Despite the speculation no one has left Ibrox for a worthwhile fee.
Speculation over £30m bids for Nico Raskin, Youssef Chermiti and Manny Fernandez remains just that.

Last night at Tannadice Raskin was rested, Chermiti benched and Fernandez played like a £200,000 project brought in from the wilderness of Peterbrough.
It all became real last nigt for McInnes.
His team performed just like you’d expect from one under Danny Rohl, Russell Martin or Phil Clement against a collection of free transfers and loan deals brought in by Jim Goodwin.
Rather than accept responsibility for failing McInnes turned on the Ibrox board for their transfer failing.

I know the evidence today would suggest we’ve still got loads and loads to do, and I get that, but I do think we have got enough to be encouraged about.
But the new signings need to land pretty soon. I need to say that.
Everybody’s worked hard to get the right players in, and I appreciate the effort that’s been made, but we’ve got important games, important league games, important European games, and we’re just really trying to crank that up to try and get players in the building as quickly as possible.
It is understood by the hard of thinking that offers are being weighed up for Lewis Ferguson, Micky Moore and Vaclav Cerny.
MCINNES FEELING THE PRESSURE
After the match McInnes admitted that on loan defender Ben Godfrey has suffered an injury before being substituted.
The former England star looked uncomfortable throughout the match although playing alongside Fernandez must have been a troubling experience.
McInnes also admitted that Young McCrorie has been suffering with a knee injury.
To top off his defensive problems new signing Olwethu Makhanya is unlikely to get a Visa for Thursday’s match away to Jagiellonia in Poland.
Those three issues could open the door for an emergency call to John Souttar. The Scotland ace often wore the armband of dignity last season.
Souttar and Atalanta transfer target Connor Barron failed to make the bench against Dundee United.

Wonder how many defeats/draws he is allowed before he gets the tin tack? I think even the orcs would see right through his whiny, greetin’-faced blame deflection tactics were they to suffer a seriously bad run……

The man with a tan and and broken plan (after one match ) , has already brought in 8 new recruits for the 15 th Ibroxland revolution since 2012 . He’s now pleading for new signings on top of those ! Presumably he means he needs more new signings as the new signings he has made are not up to the job ? It does get confusing trying to keep up . But with those sympathetic scoops from the daily Record backing Del boy to the hilt in another quest for glory his plea will be heard and read by dozens and dozens of more hopeful fan boys and girls …..guaranteed ! All for the ceaseless cause of course !

All that hype pre-season getting manager of the year in the door with his best player at Hearts last season as well it was all systems go in the Scottish press and meda,only to fall apart at the first hurdle or game of the season.
Once again the same as previous seasons these tramps open up with first game of the season on live TV,for what reason they ain’t been champions for years,then they have the second game next week,again kicking off a day if not days before us or anyone else,is this to give them some type of advantage over us and the other teams,hoping that we will all be chasing them trying to play keepy up or catch-up.
If this is the case then it is backfiring badly,they try these shenanigans every year only to FAIL, badly.
