After losing their League Cup quarter-final tie at home to Aberdeen Neil McCann turned brutally on his players.
There is no more sure fire sign of a manager about to be sacked.
All of the Kilmarnock players will have contracts until at least the end of the season.
McCann is heading for an autumn sacking, normally reserved for failed messiah’s at Ibrox.
After drawing 0-0 at Pittodrie last week in the SPFL Premiership Kilmarnock were favourites to win a place in the League Cup semi-final draw.
Aberdeen took the lead in 52nd minute with a well placed Kevin Nisbet header.
Just six minutes later the tie swung dramatically in Kilmarnock’s favour.
Firstly Dan Happe was given his second yellow card, from the free-kick Kilmarnock equalised with a glancing header from Tyreece John-Jules.
Kilmarnock had half an hour at home with a one man advantage to win the tie.

All animated as he explained the finer points of the game wee Neil only had one spell managing Dundee to back up his coaching brilliance.

An extra man gives you possession easier but you still have to do it and come up with something.
That’s the difference between getting to a semi-final and not and we didn’t do enough of it which is so disappointing.
Psychologically the boys will be down and I hope they are because I’m hurting and all our fans are hurting.
They need to show they’re capable of recovering very quickly. Professional sport doesn’t allow you a lot of time to wallow in your misery.
McCann takes Kilmarnock to Hibs on Tuesday then hosts Hearts on Saturday.

Famously in 2020 McCann criticised Odsonne Edourard for scoring with a disrespectful penalty against Craig Gordon in the Scottish Cup Final.
