Celtic will face Stuttgart or Ferencvaros for a place in the Round of 16 in the Europa League.
A 4-2 home win over Utrecht booked Celtic’s place in the next stage as they finished the group phase in 21st place with 11 points from eight matches.
That brackets Celtic with Ludogorets in tomorrow’s draw where they will meet Stuttgart or Ferencvaros on February 19 and 26 for a place in the last 16.
The outcome of to night’s match was virtually settled in the first 20 minutes as Celtic raced into a 3-0 lead.
Ben Nygren opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he netted from a Kieran Tierney cut-back.
CELTIC GOAL FEAST
Four minutes later the Swede was the provider when he sent the ball into the goalmouth with Viergever putting the ball into the net.
In the 19th minute Arne Engels netted from the penalty spot following a VAR Review that few fans in the ground were claiming for.
Celtic looked capable of scoring at any stage but just before half time de Wit caused a scare with a well placed 20 yard shot to give the Dutch side hope.
There were signs of real concern in the 62nd minute when Blane sent a low shot past Kasper Schmeichel.
Fortunately Celtic’s two goal lead was restored four minutes later when Auston Trusty headed home from an in-swinging corner.
That cushion allowed O’Neill to make some substitutions with Kelechi Iheanacho getting the last 22 minutes.

SUBS: Sinisalo, Doohan, Balikwisha, McCowan, Iheanacho, Bernardo, Murray, Forrest, McArdle, Ralston, Hale, Isiguzo

Great result tonight and the only team carrying the flag for Scotland,I wonder how much praise the ARSEHOLE so called journalists will give us for that.
Haven’t been tuning into radio snyde or bothered with any online shite from auld pishy and his minnions articles,so don’t know what they have writing, but no doubt still NEGATIVE about us i guess.
Here’s hoping the result gets right up their noses tonight, now let’s push on now and keep it going in the league.
Sinsalo has to be in goal. How can schmichael be beat from two mile and a f**in fortnight.
Good result – But I think it’ll be very detrimental to our league winning chances I’m afraid !
The narrative from the SMSM is not enjoying Celtic being the only club / clumpany in wee Scotland to make it through to the knockout stages of any European competition , but how theRanngers can concentrate on winning the league now all European distractions are out of the way after they failed miserably on doing so ? In fact wee Scotty ( quite the misnomer ) , of the daily Record has stated theRangers can now fully concentrate with laser focus on winning the league ? That daily Record whose editor was begging for money from the public yesterday to maintain the world class journalistic standards from his scoops ! The same rag had 2 scoops over in Portugal covering their pet project playing in a dead rubber getting pumped 1- 3 going on 6 . Nice cushy wee numbers still at the paper , while circling the drain simultaneously.
By reading them you’re keeping The Scummy’s in a job Valentines !
