‘More kits than coaches’ ‘unbelievable’ ‘you make me sick’ Celtic fans react to exciting kit teaser

Celtic teased their fans last night with a glimpse of another exciting kit launch.

Supporters gave Michael Nicholson, Brian Wilson and Dermot Desmond a very emphatic reply.

It read NOT ANOTHER PENNY.

It is an incredible state of affairs less than four weeks after Celtic clinched the domestic double. But entirely understandable.

Last season the Celtic Fans Collective provided a focus for fans frustrated by the policies of the club.

The policy that releases a minimum spend to stay ahead of their O** F*** business partners while sending Celtic into European obscurity.

Rather than acknowledge that changes have to be made the club doubled down.

They dug their heels in in defiance of logical arguments that the club could be run better.

CHAIRMAN LAWWELL AND HIS UTTER CONTEMPT FOR SHAREHOLDERS

At the 2025 AGM the level of petulance peaked.

Bad tempered Chairman Lawwell screeched at shareholders to behave. Ross Desmond, Daddy’s Bhoy hit out at the anti-establishment fans. Lawwell stormed off after less than an hour that included a 30 minute adjournment and a dull as dishwater video interview with Michael Nicholson.

A few weeks later Lawwell resigned. He hasn’t been seen at a Celtic match this year but his poisonous attitude of contempt seeps through every area of the club.

A washed out white top to a traditional Adidas template hasn’t created much excitement.

The only part of interest will be the contrived link to the Lisbon Lions. From the trailer it could be linked to the unique paving stones of the Portuguese capital.

Meanwhile nothing has been heard of from Martin O’Neill since he was announced as manager.

No outlining of his plans and ambitions. No sign of his assistants. Even Gavin Strachan appears to be bailing out.

A perfect storm is brewing at the club.

It took until the Kairat Almaty matches last season for unrest to surface.

CELTIC FANS COLLECTIVE

The Collective is now in place. Chairman Wilson promised a follow up meeting within a month when he met the Collective on February 18. Four months later he hasn’t been back in touch.

It would be a stretch to say that the Labour party apologist has been diverted to work on transfers.

Having been activated Celtic fans aren’t likely to step back. More and more realise that their Season Ticket money won’t be viewed on the park. Banked then sent to HMRC as Corporation Tax.

A decade ago fans bought directly from the club despite the same kit being available cheaper at places like Sports Direct.

That relationship has been trashed.

NOT ANOTHER PENNY is the mantra and will only get stronger as the club stumbles through another transfer window.

This time world class Nicholson can’t even put together a coaching team for the 74-year-old manager.
