Three months after his Ibrox meltdown David Tanner is still easily triggered.
It is a long time since the Sky Sports anchor-man has been in the media spotlight.
A happy and glorious day was anticipated for Danny Rohl’s side as they hosted a seriously weakened Celtic side at Ibrox.
Callum McGregor and Kieran Tierney were added to the injury list with Celtic on the back of a demanding midweek trip to Aberdeen.
Tanner was expecting a comfortable home win but unable to get a shot on target Rohl’sside were taken to penalties.
TalkSPORT suddenly got interested in the action from Ibrox.
After Tomas Cvancara buried the final penalty it was over to Tanner live at Ibrox. The chance to impress on the national stage.
Sadly for his career prospects Tanner couldn’t get the better of his grief. When he spotted a Celtic fan blessing himself he had to share his outrage with TalkSPORT listeners!

You tell me. You clearly felt something was wrong with it by highlighting it as an issue to Talksport at the Scottish Cup 1/4 final. Then, you proceeded to ignore anyone for weeks after if they asked the question about why you decided to mention it. Over to you…

‘Without fear or favour’ but out of the hundreds on the pitch, during your pearl clutching description, you managed to pick out a man doing the sign of the cross before anything else happening on the pitch. Sounds entirely fair-minded and reasonable.

As well as blessing himself the same Celtic fan was breathing, smiling, laughing and talking. Only one aspect of his actions horrified Tanner into broadcasting his actions.
TANNER CAN’T SHAKE OFF HIS IBROX AUDIO
Since being axed by Sky Sports in 2017 Tanner has found his level.
No other broadcasters were waiting to hire his unique skillset.
All those years of matey banter with Neil McCann, Charlie Nicholas and Jim White hadn’t impressed anyone.
When a True Blue applies for and accepts a job at Hibs TV it really is time to take a step back and assess the direction of your career.
TalkSPORT has provided Tanner with an Ibrox Press Pass but turn to him in emergencies only.
Needless to say wee Davie isn’t at the World Cup Finals despite the extensive media coverage.
Trying to find a niche Tanner has set up the Toe Poke Podcast, covering previous Scotland World Cup campaigns.
So far 67 videos has attracted 291 subscribers. The last three episodes have been watched less than 2,000 times.
Below is the audio clip which Tanner can’t shake off, bless him.

Lol 291 subscribers,I think the 2 and the 9 are misprinted,it surely must just 1 subscriber,himself.
The guy is a kingsize FUD,as for his podcast shitey thing ,seen more life in a tramps jacket in a funeral parlour.
They shoukd show a photo of him sitting on the grey bus he got school each day, sitting with his colouring-in-boo and crayons,,with his Janet&John reading book sticking out his dunce’s school bag.
Remember follow the bouncing ball when this BIGOTED KLOWN of a DUNDERHEAD tries to put a sentence together.
