Two home wins has been enough to get Ibrox fans back on board with Derek McInnes’ Staunch Revolution.
Interestingly Lawrence Shankland, the man trusted with the captain’s armband has been dropped to the bench for the wins over St Mirren and Jablonec.
St Mirren were woeful, totally naive. Buoyed by wins over Falkirk and St Johnstone following a home defeat from Dunfermline.
It is half time against Jablonec. Any win for the fifth best team in the Czech Republic and the return leg goes to extra-time.
A year ago Russell Martin was getting hounded from every corner. Fans, legacy media, social media and fan media were all on his case.
THE IBROX CYCLE OF FAILURE
Fortunately for McInnes he dresses properly. Walter’s lucky cardigan has been added to his wardrobe.
Additionally McInnes isn’t Vegan or Buddhist. He certainly isn’t a member of the Green Party.
And on that basis McInnes is due to get a full season provided he can get the team into the top five!
Remember… he’s ‘staunch’ and he ‘gets it’.

A year ago Martin had his side in the Champions League Play Off after getting through two qualifiers.
McInnes has been knocked out of the Europa League by the Polish Partick Thistle.
Martin had two points in the SPFL Premiership, unbeaten at Fortress Ibrox. McInnes hasn’t won at SPFL Premiership match. His next two fixtures are away at Aberdeen and Falkirk.
Having tried every other managerial option it seems that going Staunch is the last throw of the dice.
Unfortunately McInnes is slowly ditching the players that ‘get it’.
Young Ross McCrorie has been replaced at right-back. Wingers are being brought in to push Finlay Curtis out the picture.
After his five minute red card performance against Jablonec Cammy Devlin won’t be selected any time soon.
With no sign of any big sales the last two signings have been on loan.
Hopes of signing Vaclav Cerny, Lewis Ferguson and Mikey Moore are fading fast.

Not for the first time either.

The most expensive mince on earth.
‘It is half time against Jablonec. Any win for the fifth best team in the Czech Republic and the return leg goes to extra-time’
Except if they win by two or three goals, no?
Unless UEFA have changed the rules for the Huns again!
That’s it. Ahm gettin a cardigan!
Jist tae prove mah staunchness as wannae ra peepo.
The Staunchometer is overloading Captain!
