Kris Boyd, the Village Idiot from a dark place in Ayrshire has called the throwing of tennis balls by Celtic fans embarrassing.
Boyd had no comment to make in March 2024 when UEFA placed a suspended closure on the Copland Road Stand at Ibrox for racist actions.
He had nothing to say when the Sons of Struth were harassing Sports Direct employees at work. When noisy Ibrox fans appeared at the check out offering £1 for goods priced far higher.
Boyd said nothing critical when the Supreme Court ruled the scam payments used by Rangers under Dave Murray was disguised remuneration which should be subject to Income Tax, National Insurance, penalties and interest.
Boyd says nothing critical of the two Ibrox clubs that he played for. He knows his audience, the lowest of the low.
Since moving into media work Boyd has watched Celtic win five trebles. Every Celtic success hurts him deeply. Not even the flow of payments from Sky Sports and The Scottish Sun compensates for his decade of despair.

A LOT OF BALLS FROM BOYD
I think protests at the stadium, protests in the grounds where your team is playing, I can understand if they’re not happy as long as it’s a controlled protest.
Desmond hasn’t been to Celtic Park since May. The only competitive match he has attended this season was in Austria. His triumphant appearance at that match backfired a little.
But a lot of Celtic fans seem to get carried away with themselves when it comes to things like this, turning up to an event like they did.
Celtic fans will always speak out and make their feelings known. They don’t get led like sheep, unlike those at Rangers who watched their club die in 2012.
I think you only need to read the Celtic statement, and how quickly it came out as well, to see that the football club feels let down and embarrassed by the total lack of respect for the club as a whole.
The statement went out at 10.07pm on a Saturday, eight hours after the minor incident. Not many clubs or organisations issue 10pm statements on a Saturday, none over incidents so trivial.
Some of the Celtic fans think they’re bigger than the football club and it’s never going to be the case.
They care, they have an interest, they have paid their way into games for years. Unlike the Celtic directors and media freeloaders like Boyd.
To turn up to an event like the Alfred Dunhill and protest the way they did. It’s a worldwide event, it’s embarrassing for Celtic Football Club and I think the statement underlined how embarrassed they felt with the protest.
The Dunhill Cup is a freak show that no serious golfer bothers with. It is used to give fading celebrities and rich guys a little attention. To feel better about themselves. There were no TV cameras showing Desmond playing alongside Brooks Koepka, no one was interested or bothered.
It’s a step too far for me and Dermot Desmond, for me, will just go and knuckle down now.
What a scary thought. Will he start selling off the best players and replace them with dud loan signings, injured teenagers and Chelsea starlets that haven’t played a minute of football? This sort of thing could turn Celtic into a joke figure in European football. Help.
Boyd pulled out of the Tennents Sixes at the weekend due to a tummy strain.
In a career lasting 18 seasons he scored one goal against Celtic, in a dead rubber Glasgow Derby. Henrik Larsson scored more goals against Celtic than the legendary Ayrshire goal machine.
