26th October 2025; Tynecastle Park, Edinburgh, Scotland: Scottish Premiership Football, Hearts versus Celtic; General view of Tynecastle
At 4-0 down today Hearts fans streamed out of the exits at Celtic Park.
It was a wonderful sight from a support that has spent the last six months moaning about a mythical conspiracy.
Naturally the Scottish media has rolled out the red carpet for the Jambo tears. Led by ‘lifelong’ Jambo Pat Nevin, in reality a fading C list pundit that detests every success that Celtic inflicts into his miserable life.
Today was the opportunity to right that wrong.
When Celtic struck in the last 10 minutes of the final match of last season to win title 56. Hearts haven’t been champions of Scotland since 1960.
Today was a new start for Hearts. Hipster manager Wouter Vrancken went armed with the finest of Jamestown Analytics.
And his side got battered.
Celtic were 2-0 up inside 10 minutes, two set pieces and there was nothing that the visitors could do about it.
And then there was Callum Osmand. The young striker than finally killed the dream last summer with that iconic goal that secured the 25/26 title for Celtic.
HEARTS, HEARTS ARE FALLING APART
Osmand started for the first time ever. He had one SPFL goal to his name.
He was substituted at half-time today with three goals to his name. Scoring in the 36th and 38th, with Celtic 4-0 up hundreds of Jambos headed for the exits. With a familiar song ringing in their ears.

With the exodus underway many Hearts fans missed their goal. A very decent effort in the 41st minute, curled in from the edge of the penalty box by Laurent Mendy.
Not to worry there was another goal to come from Celtic, coming in stoppage time.
Mika Baur waltzed through the Hearts defence like a winger.
When confronted by goalkeeper Beau Reus the midfielder lifted the ball goalwards.
What happened next was a brilliant moment of comedy.
Stephen Kingsley and Jamie McCart were sliding back towards the goal-line. Kingsley played the ball off McCart as his momentum took the ball over the line. 5-1 Celtic and only half-time.
There were two more goals after the break as the get-away Jambos travelled eastbound along the M8.
After the match the away team managed to shower and go through their media duties before being cheered on the bus back to Tynecastle.
